Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
For me, Crash Team Racing is pure nostalgia. PlayStation 1 was the first console on which I literally spent hours and CTR was my absolute number one.
Racing, drifting, power sliding, shooting, and getting shot at. There was nothing as satisfying as firing a rocket, just before the last turn, and still becoming first.
The remake of the series under the name: “Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled”, does not disappoint. Learned young is done old, in no time at all, I was winning races and felt as well as it did then.
The graphics got a modern jacket and with the “pit stop”, there’s a lot to upgrade and personalize.
Almost every game these days has a multiplayer variant, and this also applies to CTR Nitro-Fueled.
But be warned, your opponents are playing at a high level. It’s not the same as beating the PlayStation! :-p
Crash Team Racing is an awesome arcade kart-racing game and gets all 5 stars from me.
The only thing I hoped for :-p were some extra/new secret passages. Because if you’ve never played the game, you don’t win by playing fair. Fight off your opponents, shoot them off the track, make a short turn, or just take that secret passage.
